Samantha J Russell OTD; OTR/L

Clinic Director

Dr. Samantha Russell, OTD, is a pediatric occupational therapist with over 6 years of experience supporting children through a play-based, neurodevelopmentally informed approach. She specializes in gross motor development, motor coordination, and nervous system regulation, believing these are foundational to a child’s overall growth.

Dr. Russell integrates positive touch, co-regulation strategies, and sensory processing support to help children feel safe, connected, and ready to engage in meaningful movement and play. Her sessions emphasize body awareness, balance, core strength, motor planning, and postural control, all tailored to each child’s unique developmental needs. With a deep belief in the power of play and relationship-based care, she empowers children and families to build confidence and functional skills that carry into everyday life. Dr. Russell also coaches parents and collaborates closely with educators and other health professionals, ensuring a holistic, supportive framework that helps children thrive in both therapy and daily environments.
